With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our beloved August Felando.
August Felando’s father was born in Komiza on the island of Vis in Croatia, and August held a deep connection to his Croatian roots. He was particularly proud of his two lacrosse-playing grandsons and took joy in seeing his grandsons supporting the growth of lacrosse in Croatia. He watched with immense pride when his grandson Christian wore the Croatian jersey when he played on the Croatia Men’s National Lacrosse Team.
Instead of sending flowers, we kindly ask that you consider making a donation. This foundation tirelessly promotes lacrosse in Croatia, providing opportunities for aspiring players and fostering community growth.
