The ELC in Wroclaw Poland Delayed.
Sadly, due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 situation, the European Lacrosse Federation has decided to postpone the European Lacrosse Championship that was supposed to take place this summer in Wroclaw, Poland. As of now, the future date for this event has not been set.
Why not held in 2020?
The Lacrosse European Championships was planned for 2020. Unfortunately, due to the international situation connected with the COVID-19 pandemic, and with the aim of primarily targeting the health and safety of players, we decided, in agreement with the European Lacrosse Federation and relevant institutions in the country, to postpone the competition until 2021.
The winner of the European Lacrosse Championships in 2021 will be a competitor in the World Lacrosse Championship (Los Angeles, USA) in 2023.
